honest there is nothing else like them. they change you permantly. they are top class. i used the end procrastination 1 and i just transformed from the laziest person on the planet to someone who loved getting stuff done. i tried the motivation one and found myself just completely pumped up and willing to do anything. i was so motivated and pumped up that i managed to force myself to shadow box in a shopping centre for 3 hours a day for months in order to get over my self conciouness sa problem. im using the sa one at the moment and im making great progress but obviously it will take a lot of time before i can say that im over sa and im changed permantly |

Hey guys,
Anymore feedback on TRN... how long does it take to see effects? I got the Dissolving Panic and Anxiety one since in the reviews some people with SA said it worked. Do I need the SA one specifically? Also, I put the files in MP3 form on my mp3 player. That's fine right? It doesn't lose any effectiveness if the quality is slightly (hardly noticeable) worse? |

others with less severe of a problem or who have maybe only had SA fo a year or 2 (ive had mine for 21 years since i was 5 years old ) could be cured in 6 months to a year i started using it last year and made amazing progress but just recently ive stop using it cos ive but my fight against SA on hold why i try and sort out my carear ( i cant do 2 things at the same time) so im using the motivation one at the moment whcih is working beyond beleif no listening whilst you sleep is not enough . the minimum required is listening once per day whilst lying down with eys close but still awake (its ok if you nod off as this is not the same kind of sleep as when you go to bed at night. sometime you cant help but nod off but its always best to stay awake ) listening whilst you sleep or listening whilst you watch tv etc.... is just a bonus. listening once per day whilst awake but lying down with eyes closed is essentail i wish listening whilst asleep was enough cos it can be hard to find an hour in the day to commit to thinkrightnow |

It's important to try to imagine what it would FEEL like if the affirmations on the tape were true, instead of just passive listening. Let's take "When people meet me, they like me instantly". When I try to imagine a world where this is true, it sounds like a great place and it makes me feel good.
Most of the affirmations are hard to believe at first. You can edit them in your mind to a more believable form, like "when people meet me, they see me more positively than I have previously thought". This has helped me a lot. |

Also the subconscious mind never sleeps and is working 24 hours a day so that is why listening to the cds while sleeping should work. The subconscious mind hears it. I bought the SA and the Panic and the Public Speaking programs. I haven't had them for too long yet and haven't been very good at listening during the daytime so I've been playing them while I sleep. It's better than nothing I think. I also made my own super sleep cd but I have to make some changes and make another one as the background music I used ended up making it sound eerie for some reason. I'll probably get some better background music from TRN. |

its true that if you write down 15 of your favourite affirmations and you conciously read them 3 times a day that you must feel like they are true as you say them and you must arouse emotion with them. if you read them without emotion or without beleiving thm then its pretty useless however when you listen to the thinkrightnow tapes you have to do absolutely NOTHING. all you are required to do is lay back, close your eyes and hit the play button. the reason is that when you listen to thinkrightnow there is a relaxation session at the start which puts you into the right state for the affirmations. the relaxation session puts you into a state were you access your subconcious mind. now the subconcious mind does not know the difference between a real or an imagined experience andit does not know the difference between true or false theefore it BELEIVES EVERYTHING YOU TELL IT. you could listen and be saying to yourself ''o as if'' ''thats a load of bull'' and it wouldnt matter, it would still work |

the sleep thing though needs to be cleared up. when you are in deep sleep the cds arent very useful. but when you are in the light sleep were you are just first going to sleep or when you are almost waing up is the best time for it. thats why it doesnt work too well at night, cos you are in too much of a deep sleep |

i was trying to tackle my stage fright/performance anxiety that is a result of my SA.
i like to play football (or soccer as ts called in america) but whenever there is a row of spectators on the sidelines watching me i suffer severe sa. i just get so self concious and feel so awward and embarrassed. i just cant function or concentrate on the game when there is no crowd im completely fine and i love football cos when i play (when there is no crowd) its one of the only times when i dont feel self concious or anxious . so i decided to cure my stage fright. i decided to attack it by 1)usig thinkrightnow 2) doing some exposure i listened to thinkrightnow everyday and i also went to my local shopping centre 5-6 days per week and spent 3 hours a day doing some exposure. the exposure was basically doing things were i would be the centre of attention and have people scrutinie me (cos thats what my fear was on the football pitch - my fear was of being the cent of attention and being scrutinized) what i did was dress up as a scarecrow , put on a pair of boxing gloves nd shadow boxed in the shopping centre infront of all of the crowds. in the past just walking through a shopping centre would make me painfully self concious and anxious but after about 2 months i actually enjoyed doing the shadow boxing , i actually looked forward to doing it with excitement. it took many attempts to actually do it. i walked down there about 10 times and felt physically sick about doing it. one day i even spent one hour in the toilets trying to pursuade myself to do it but the fear got the better of me and every single time i bottled it and went home. then one day i found the motivation to just do it. it was painfully uncomfortable but i stook with it. for about the 1st 7-10 days it was really tough but after that the discomfort lessened day after day i eventually reached a point were that sitauation just did not bother me anymore. being the cntre of attention just was not an issue anymore. it simply did not create a response in me at all. normally functioning people must not feel a response when they go to a pub or have a conversaion or whaever and thats how i felt about being the centre of attention |

You know, these CD's helped me out but after a while I just got so frickin' tired of them... it's like I dread them. Maybe it's my mind rejecting them or something, but that ladies voice is so annoying to me now haha.

According to the manual this is how to use the program...
The Ways to Use listed below are in descending order from “best-best” to “least-best”: (1)Listen to an entire CD or tape at least once a day while awake but relaxed (at normal volume) Ideally, you should do this in the morning or at night (or both, if time permits). Sit upright or semi-reclined in a comfortable position with your eyes closed. Try your best to eliminate outside distractions, like noise from the TV, people talking, the phone ringing or music playing. Aim to minimize internal distractions too—if you’ve had a bad day at the office or the traffic was atrocious this evening, just let it go and listen. (2)Write the statements Choose 10-15 of your favorite statements and write them on a piece of paper three times per day. As you finish writing each one, say it out loud (or to yourself) with conviction and enthusiasm. Imagine that the statement is true right now, that it really describes you now. (3)Read your favorites Choose 15 of your favorite statements and write them on a piece of paper. Read them to yourself 3 times per day (morning, noon and the last thing you do before going to sleep at night). The 3rd read-through should be out loud. It’s also a good idea to affirm that you truly believe each statement after you read it by nodding and saying something like, “Alright!” “Yes!” “That’s me to a T.” “You bet.” “Absolutely!” (4)Listen while doing (quiet) activities (at normal volume) You can have your program playing in the background while you engage in quiet activities, such as cooking, light housework, doing crafts, gardening, going for a walk, reading or relaxing. Many users with jobs that don’t require concentrating on conversations play their programs as they work—you can decide if your work atmosphere is appropriate for that. (5)Listen while talking or watching A great time to get your active subconscious mind re-programmed is while your conscious mind is absorbed in some other activity like talking on the phone, in person or watching TV. In these cases, set the volume low enough so it can be heard as a whisper but not loud enough to interrupt your conversations or whatever else you are paying attention to. (6)Listen while sleeping (at very low volume) Play your program all night long while you sleep—your brain is still awake even when you are sleeping! It only needs to be loud enough to just make out the words as a whisper with one ear on your pillow. And since you are already relaxed, it’s not necessary to hear the music. Some users have had concerns that their spouse or partner does not want to hear the program playing softly all night. If this describes you, you can plug headphones or ear buds into your player and drape them over the bedpost near your pillow. You can also use a “pillow speaker,” available at electronics stores such as Radio Shack for $10-$20 USD. (7)Listen while driving or doing more vigorous activities (normal or loud volume) If you travel a lot for business, you’ll be very happy to know that you can listen to your Think Right Now! program as the miles tick away! It’s also effective to listen while doing physical activities such as heavy cleaning or vigorous exercising. We just recommend that you omit the 4-minute relaxation session on tracks 1 and 3 (for a CD) or the first four minutes of side A and B (for a tape) if you are driving or performing any activity that requires high energy and alertness (for obvious reasons!). How Often to Use Think Right Now As often as you can! At least once per day, but preferably even more often. The simple rule is, the more you listen to the CD/tape, write or speak the statements, the faster you will notice positive changes in your conscious thoughts and in your automatic, unthinking split-second responses. With all the different ways to use shown above, there’s always a time and place for Think Right Now! How You Will Know It’s Beginning To Work Within a few weeks after they start to use Think Right Now audio programs, the vast majority of users begin to notice subtle changes in how they think and feel. They find themselves thinking, saying and doing things that are out of character for them, but in a good way! They gradually see themselves thinking and acting how they have always wished they could in a particular situation or challenge. We receive hundreds of reports of users who are very excited as they begin to see the differences. They feel more calm and at ease. Eventually this becomes who they are. In many cases, users notice immediate, significant positive changes in their thoughts and attitudes. Such quick results may indicate that the user may not be dealing with a challenge or bad habit that they've had for very long or that the “old way” is not providing much “benefit” or pleasure; hence, it is not as deeply ingrained as other thought patterns may be and is more quickly and easily reversed. In addition, occasionally you may feel a slight agitation or anxiety when first using a Think Right Now!

that is deadly wrong. Ask the thinkrightnow support(i have) and they say and suggest that you listen to the cd once per day with eyes closed AND at night while sleeping because thats the time when your mind is at least ressistant to make the statements their own. they say that at night is the best time to listen(before sleeping, and all night) if you want i can post the comment of the thinkrightnow support sepcialist here. And you can listen to more than one cd if you want. Listening to dissolving panic and anxiety and conquering social anxiety is a great combination. |

Have you guys checked out the software Think Right Now! for Windows? I bought it a while back. Right now they give it for free if you purchase 3 cds or more I think. It's a decent program. Although sometimes it gives me headaches and sometimes it can relax me. The program flashes "subliminal" messages in your computer screen and you can make your own messages. I'm still trying to write the perfect message, the silver bullet ya know?
I like to run the proggie while listening to some calm binaural music. The program does not have one for SA or shyness, but I think I will try typing in the messages from some of the CDs I have (they come with the messages typed out too no?) The default message is a creepy one! ""mommy and I are one" (google it) I have some of those CDs actually, and they have had some effect (a fleeting effect though). I don't think I have listened to them long enough though. |

just even look at the post above were the person has posted part of the official uses manual. int hat post listening whilst you sleep at night is listed as the 6th best way to use thinkrightnow. there are 5 better ways to use think rightnow than when you sleep at ngiht listening whilst you seep int even ESSENTIAL. you dont have to do it. the only thing you have to do is listen once per day to h full cd lying down with eyes closed but still awake. thats essentail . everything else is OPTIONAL and is just a bonus its not a good idea to mix cds. you can mix them if you like but you get better and faster resluts when you focus on one at a time. also who on earth has enough time to listen to 2 full cds per day |

hey did you ever try to listen to the cd`s at night? I use thinkrightnow for a year so i know also what im talking about. But the most competent person in that topic is an employee from thinkrightnow, here is what they wrote me: "Your inconsistent results may very well be due to the fact that you stated you find it difficult to relax and listen to the programs and also that you do not listen at night. It is very important to listen to the programs as you drift off to sleep as well as all night, as this is when your mind is least resistant to making these statements their own. I strongly recommend you try to listen once during the day while relaxed in a chair with your eyes closed. Please do your best to relax and listen to the words you are hearing. Then, please also listen while you drift off to sleep. Most CD players have a 'repeat' button that you can press to allow the disc to play on a loop all night. This is the most effective way to get results." -------------- and another one: It is best to listen to the program all night, although it can be listened to only while drifting off to sleep or relaxing. Playing the program while you sleep is one of the best times to listen. Your brainwaves slow so that the predominant brainwave pattern is Theta (4-7 cycles per second). This is the single greatest time for receiving the powerful, positive, life-enhancing statements of belief on our programs. Your mind is wide awake during more than 90% of sleep time (that's why a noise could still wake you, or why a dream can startle you into waking up, for example) so your mind will continue to absorb what it is hearing on our program. The only stage of sleep where no information is getting in is during the delta stage. These are the deepest levels of sleep where brainwaves are slowed to 1-3 cycles per second. While our bodies are renewing and regenerating, our minds continue to work even when we're asleep. The REM stage of sleep is a perfect time to use the materials in Think Right Now! programs. Although the programs are most effective at night during relaxation or sleep, they are effective and can be used at other times during the day too. We only recommend that you omit the 4-minute relaxation exercise if you are driving or engaging in another activity that requires alertness. ----------------- if you listen to the cd`s at night and during the day while relaxed would be very good. I dont know why the TRN support says that listening at night is one of the best times to listen when in the manual its only the 6th best way. |

the users manual (written by mike brescia the creator of thinkrightnow - not an employee of thinkrightnow says that listening whilst you sleep is not essential , its the 6th best way to use thinkrightnow) im talking from experience too. when i 1st purchased thinkrightnow in 2005 i tried listening only when i slept cos i found it hard and inconvenient to listen for an hour everyday. i listened for 4 weeks and nothing happen in 2006 i listen for an hour everyday (and didnt listen at all whilst i slept ) and i seenm results from day 1 try it yourself , test it and see mike brescia is the man to listen to not his employess, maybe theyve made a bit of a mistake |
