http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ima...3203766&sr=8-3 usually can be picked up at major book stores for a little over $20usd brand new. i give it a (5 out of 5) btw, is there anyone else who has read this book? if so, what were your thoughts? |

There are other threads here that talk about it. You can check it out.
I think it's decent but at the same time I believe it isn't the best book for social phobia. It doesn't talk about subtle avoidance/safety behaviors and doesn't mention behavioral experiments nor shame-attacking exercise. I think the chapter on social anxiety in The Feeling Good Handbook by David D Burns, MD and the Shyness and Social Anxiety Workbook by Antony PhD and Swinson MD are probably better. |
