Proven Principles for CALMING the Stormy Mind. This is an excellent book by a psychologist named Carl Semmelroth from Kalamazoo MI. The book is very straight-forward and simply explains why anger, depression, panic anxiiety happens and simply things to do recover. It's very good.

The insights of Dr Semmelroth (book's author) are so good I called his office today and asked if he was still taking new patients. The woman said, "How about Wednesday at noon?" I was kinda shocked. His office is 5.5 hours away from me but I think it will be worth it.

Not only is this author/counselor taking patients but he only charges $80/hour. That's a lot of money but reasonable as far as therapists go.
