hi semidetached. i think if you really need it, you should have no problem paying it. it won't cost more than 10$ i guess. here's a book on Positive Thinking. this might be the book that you might be looking for. if it's not, send me a pm, i have a lot of resources.

Thanks for the links you two. I just... I feel that if I knew more about the science behind how the esteem of a person is built I would be able to work at my SA more logically.

If you want a good (cheap, mass market paperback) book that'll explain how you can improve your self-esteem, check out "Feeling Good" by David Burns. The ideas he presents are all backed up by empirical research.
