Default Other Forums

I dont know if I can post this or not but giving it a shot anyway....Obviously from my constant presence on this forum I like this forum a lot....I know a lot of the names and personalities on this board so its very comfortable...

I tend to only visit this forum ...I was just wondering what other forums people belong to around here, I was just on Google trying to find other anxiety forums, signed up for two, but didnt really like the feel of them. They lacked the diversity of SAS in that on SAS you can do so many different things or talk about a million different subjects....

(I dont know, rather than finding another way to spend yet even more time on my computer I guess I should...LIKE DO SOMETHING ELSE!!! )

You could join a forum on another subject you enjoy.

The SA forums have their limits, this one is probably the best.

I have had a look at other SA forums but this one is the largest I think. There are a lot fewer threads on the others and people-wise I have just grown comfortable here

I've tried some psychology forums, but people just tend to whine a lot there. I've tried some political forums but people get really nasty at some of them -- especially the ones that lean to the right. I've tried some social forums, but I never feel like I fit in. So I always come back here.

I agree here. This is generally the best social anxiety forum. But you could look for a forum on another topic of interest you have. I post on a handful of other forums but they are on topics completely different from this. I think it helps me to keep a broader perspective.

You could have simply said the ones that are too extreme regardless of party affiliation.

Anyway, I agree that finding a forum which interests you is probably best. This is the only SA forum I go to, even though on very rare occasions I'll go to the one with the initials SPW just to see what's happenin' over there. Too much of anything isn't good for you. Sometimes I even think I spend too much time here, but then again, SA is completely controlling my life right now, so what's a person supposed to do? I feel like I'm damned either way.

i just joined spw but i'm much more comfortable here. this is probably the closest to group therapy that i would ever get so i value this site.
i made facebook and myspace accounts to try to force myself to be more social but i find i NEVER get on them and when i do it's out of a sense of duty. even here i'll go a few weeks without logging on. lol, even anonymous cyber society is stressful for me. lol
