Default Has anyone read Anthony Robbins?

I think he's great.

I've got a couple of his audio CDs. He's quite good although does whiff of dodgy con man a little. Some of his stuff is good and he does have a knack for getting people enthusiastic (if only for a short time).

Anthony Robbins is great and listening to him is helpful and does no harm. However I think to attend his seminars and be in a position to act on his advice someone with severe social anxiety would need deeper help first.

If you have severe anxiety and depression to the point of wanting to chop yourself into little pieces and flush yourself down the toilet, Tony Robbins isn't going to address those deep concerns. That's for the health professionals, therapies like CBT, and medication.

Sort the deeper issues out, and then Tony Robbins will help you achieve even more. This is just my personal opinion.

I've listend to one of CD's and I must admit he is probably the most charismatic speaker I've ever listened to. I think his idea of needing to decide and commit sound great but I have still been unable to do anything to change my life.
