Social Anxiety Support

This is a group for people with a clinical diagnosis of social phobia/social anxiety disorder, or persons who feel they may have this disorder. Friends and loved ones of people with social phobia are welcome also.

The group is social and not intended as therapy, although support of one another certainly plays a part. My hope is to form a model local network for the social phobic which will provide contacts, information, and other resources for improving lives.

We wish to create an environment where people with this condition can feal less fearful of being evaluated and judged, a friendly environment where people can feel comfortable and at home.

We are normal people: construction workers, health care workers, executives, stay at home moms, artists, teachers, IT workers, students.

Join us. We'd be glad to have you.

If this is still going on id be happy to join. But i live near Milwaukeee...Waukesha to be exact. IIm only 17 though.
