I'm also on klonopin 1 mg twice a day and I can't notice a damn thing from it, other than making me a little drowsy. I almost think the valerian works better but neither is that spectacular in my opinion. Would a shorter acting drug like xanax be more effective. My doctor doesn't want to prescribe it because it has a higher abuse potential but I'm thinking about getting a second opinon. |

The trick to using Valerian (for anything) is not to use it all the time. If you use it every day, you'll quickly build up a weird sort of tolerance for it and it won't do a thing no matter how much you take.
I suggest you take it only when you really feel like you need to relax. Of course, if that's every day, you're going to need more than Valerian and I'm afraid I can't help you there. If you spread your doses of Valerian out, though, you'll find it very effective. |
