Default Cramping During Ab Workouts

Anyone have any advice on how to prevent cramping when doing ab exercises? I can do most exercises, but I tried to do just one cable crunch at low weight and got a major cramp in my upper abs. Sometimes, when I do the sit-up medicine ball throw thing, I get cramps in my lower abs.

You should do more stretching before doing those exercises. If you get a cramp, stand up and reach your arms up. Also make sure you are hydrated because that prevents cramping.
