Default Check this out

Serotonin folks! and anyone with SA is found to lack this stuff alot! so eat foods with high amounts of it and youll have the feel good factor much more. But i will also need to point out that Serotonin is not transferred from your blood stream to your brain without something called Tryptophan which metabolizes back into Serotonin when it gets there.

And you can find high quantities of Tryptophan in Turkey, Chicken, Eggs and for veggies Almonds.

You can get high quantities of Serotonin in chocolate, but i mean pure choclate aka Cocoa, and not that crap you buy in sweet stores thats been transformed into sugar/fat/calorie packed junk without naming names.

Im a bit of a health freak so if your into smoothies try this out.

Get a big tablespoon or 2 (or 3 whatever your fancy) of raw cocoa powder/nibs/beans, preferably powder because your making a smoothy here.

Add a frozen banana, crushed/powdered almonds and a hint of vanilla, blend it up and you have got yourself one powerful nutritious drink!

Raw chocolate in its purest form contains:

High quantities of Serotonin

The highest natural source of magnesium (which is also the greatest nutrient deficiency in people in the U.S today) also note* Some of the symptoms of folks with a magnesium deficiency include anxiety, depression, fatigue, irritability, restlessness, fear, insomnia, reduced attention span, memory loss and confusion. These conditions are a lot like those of folks diagnosed with anxiety disorder!

Packed full of vitamin C

It contains high quantities of theobrome (which is the second hightest nutrient deficiency in people today)

It also contains the highest levels of antioxidants by far!!! 3 times higher than Acai berries, and it contains another 700+ chemicals that gives you a feel good factor, not to mention youll be buzzing with energy thats not the same as a sugar buzz that brings you down.

Almonds:

Contains calcium and magnesium vitamin E and compounds called phytochemicals and theobrome which is what i said transfers all that Serotonin from your blood stream to your brain. Theres tons more nutritional value to these but you get the picture, both these in there truest forms are nuts :P

Enjoy!
