Default What level of depression in life are you at right now?

For me, I am still motivated and feel like I want to do nothing but homework and working out (when I feel like it). But I feel that I am only like this because I have already "wasted" a few years of being unmotivated. I have experiences in my life that I lost, and because I lost them I have motivation from that to be motivated. Like if you have dived into a pool of sharks before and you were riding them like dolphins then the next time you go to a shark pool you would dive in there and ride them again! (and feed them pieces of dolphin meat).

I don't think this background depression can ever go away from a dysfunctional family, but I've fought long and hard to stay motivated, and it's not as bad as it should have been because of the constant struggle.

I'm trying really hard to fight through this darkness that keeps on creeping on me.

I'm constantly changing moods, but If I just think for too long I end up depressing myself really bad, but even when I am depressed I still find things to motivate me to keep going on, and finding things that motivates you is crucial when you have problems like SA and depression which almost always go hand in hand.

I don't really feel unhappy in general, but I hate myself and have absolutely no motivation at all. Does that count
