Do you long to know the little details of others lives?

I'm not hiding in bushes spying on anyone-but because I have so little contact with others - I hunger for little bits of information. The boring stuff-what they eat,read,little things. Could be I'm just deadly dull but these things fascinate me. It's almost like I'm entranced by these things because I want even that thin little thread of connection. :afr Anyone else like this??

Were your parents rigid and formal?

My parents were,there was only one "correct" way of doing something. We never went barefoot,even in the house-my parents never said a curse word,we weren't allowed to lay on the couch or place our feet (in socks) on the coffee table. There was NEVER a feeling of being relaxed while at home. I've often thought it's left me with feelings of being uncomfortable around people who are just relaxed and being themselves. Can anyone relate?

Question! What's the beer of choice for college drinkers on the West Coast? Like if a random beer pong game broke out, and you needed as much beer as possible, or just a chillin' beer that is common. I can't find it anywhere, yet I can name the beer of choice for colleges over the East Coast. Help!

Over the past few months I have been interviewing with several Financial Companies. I am happy to announce that I have signed with a Financial Company!! It will take me 6-8 weeks to study for my State License Exam. Once I pass that I will be sent out of town for a week of training. After that I can begin working as a Financial Advisor. Just wanted to share my news. :-)

Earrings for Men and Anxiety?? Opinions plz.

Hey Guys,

So I was very fond of the look of wearing earrings (I am a 25 year old male). I am a straight male but I am into fashion. I feel like wearing earrings complete my style and make me more attractive. But when I started developing a real social anxiety problem, I found it a bit uncomfortable wearing earrings nowadays. It's like I feel a bit more uncomfortable when I wear them, yet I really like the look of them on me. So right now I'm conflicted - I'm not sure if I'm sacrificing looks for comfort nowadays because I continue to wear earrings even though I have social anxiety. I don't know if it's because I think everybody is staring at me, or what. Plz help.

Mind you, I have sorta big ears, and when I was younger (about ages 8-13) I can recall being relentlessly teased about my ears. I got over that when I was 15 years old and started wearing earrings ever since I was 15 years old, and felt much more attractive and appealing while wearing them. Girls often complimented me on that as well. But now I have also have a receding hairline and I have anxiety about my appearance once agian, amongst other things.

So I have no idea what to do -- what do you guys think?? Should I stop wearing earrings altogether, do you think this will reduce my social anxiety if I just give up on the earrings? Is it hard to wear earrings if you have some anxiety about your appearance?

Plz help!!!!

Sports Stores in the USA

This is a question for those in the states. I need to know what sporting and footwear stores there are, the major ones.

I want to buy a pair of Asics runners and the Australian currency is at record highs so it's alot cheaper for me to get them from the states and have a relative send them over.

I can only think of one that offers online sales and that's Sports Authority. Any others?

It was just after lunch on that fateful day. I�d had a delicious beetroot salad.

Then, the fire alarm went off � it was a drill. I am the �fire marshall� for my office. I refuse to wear the day-glo vest. No one dares challenge me.

Our assembly point is right out there on the street. There is nothing to do but stand around and chat until they let us back into the building. So I�m standing there with everyone and I have just told a little joke and we have a little laugh, and I notice I�m getting weird looks from my colleagues. I mean more so than usual�.

I go into the bathroom and I�m washing my hands and I look in the mirror and I notice there is a large piece of beetroot laying across my chops�
