if you have a tree and you start at the top and saw of piece by peice eventually reaching the bottom you will get rid of the tree. but if you start at the bottom and just hack away the whole tree will fall.

whcih way is quicker and easier ? the latter. both reach the same outcome but one is faster and one is easier.

thinkrightnow is equivilent to the latter
It's obvious you feel very strongly about this and I imagine that's because you've personally experienced positive change with it, which is great.

My point was that it's not same as CBT because it does not have the same two components. Yes, it can certainly deal with both the cognitive and behavioral aspects, but it does so in a different way than CBT as you expressed.

I'd like to elaborate on my point of it being "inaccurate to say it works faster". I meant inaccurate in a sense that it's not a good idea to generalize about the efficacy of a treatment without research studies to back up such statements.

As I said before ThinkRightNow obviously helps some people, but it's not necessarily going to work better or faster for everyone.

That being said, I appreciate you sharing your experiences with ThinkRightNow and I might give it another try.
