I was never popular though...I always had severe SA.
That's so rude of your teacher to say that!!!!
I always got:
'quiet achiever' and 'Maike is gaining a little more confidence this year'
I also got the 'well-liked' etc etc as well, who knows - that was in Primary school.
In high school I got - 'has potential, doesn't use it', although got some good comments for art class
Now that I'm out of school, I hope that I never hear those two words together - quiet achiever - ever again in my life. I got that every single time.
School reports seemed like such a big deal at the time, but now they just seem trivial. They consistently conveyed the tone of a teacher madly evaluating how many students they had in a short period of time, without wanting to be confrontational. Rough gig.
They could not endure another explosion of the passion that boiled in him; but to their surprise all he said was 'Ah' as if he thought to himself, But why make a fuss about that? Naturally men are drowned in a storm, but it is a perfectly straightforward affair, and the depths of the sea are only water after all.
