you are correct.

washington looked good against a pretty bad syracuse team. but they also looked good against a very good boise state team.

the very best ohio state will do this year is 9-3. that might be pushing it. more likely 8-4.
OSU will probably lose a couple, 2-3 losses. Washington has the advantage of being at home. But I'm not sold on the Pac-10 -- they've had a good start, don't get me wrong, but it's still USC and everybody else.

Boise State was overrated. They should have had a chance to play in the national title game, but they were no Florida.
