. Positive thinking is an underrated tool in recovering from SA. I usually remind myself that I'm a smart, caring person despite this one mistake (whatever it is). I usually don't even have to do that now, I used to but I just naturally shrug it off now, which is proof that it works lol. I think if you make a habit of it you're general mood will improve.
I like that saying too. It is like chicken soup. It's not a cure, but it definitely helps you feel better in the short term and makes recovery much easier and less stressful.
