I have the exact same philosophy on life.
Because I'll never have lots of coin, I decided to just live off of less instead, which was going great until work forced me in to a full-time role. Now I am just emotionally crumbling and suffering all sorts of workplace bullying, as I climb further in to my shell.
Like I was saying in another thread, I'd be totally happy living in a 'van down by the river', hiking, exploring, fishing etc whilst working casually a day or 2 a week. I don't buy in to the career/work mentality.
